CHANGE
Many people wonder, "If the past can't be changed, what's the point of bringing up painful memories?" It's true, the past is fixed. However, the way we RELATE to the past can be changed.
When a traumatic event is explored, safely and gently, it can sting less, and cause us less suffering. It's not time that heals all wounds, it's the willingness to relate to the past in a new way. Facing our fears, together, can change how we feel about what we have survived.
