We're approaching a year since the world encountered COVID-19. In the United States, we began shutting down businesses and changing the way we interact in our homes and communities. Masks on faces, schools on-line. As we continue to see signs of hope in vaccines and continued safety measures, life still looks very different and there continues to be profound loss and death. How can we honor the anniversary of this life-changing time? What can we do to mark this year in a way that allows for both grief and hope? I made this map based on a recent conversation with other women, all mothers, most therapists, as we discussed ways to approach this upcoming anniversary.
